While work on their volcano lair is being completed, First Television’s world headquarters is currently located in the Hollywood Athletic Club. It’s nestled in the heart of glamorous Hollywood, across the street from the prestigious Sunset 8 Motel.
The Hollywood Athletic Club has a rich history, originally built as a place where early Hollywood actors could get drunk and have sex without being asked a lot of questions. The first Emmy awards were held there.
Now it’s a just a place to make great television. So yeah... it was probably more interesting back then.
